Current President and Co-Founder of West Coast Environmental, an asbestos/lead and mold abatement company specializing in the residential, industrial and commercial markets. Prior to Co-Founding West Coast Environmental in 1996, Kevin was a general partner and co- founder of Valley Environmental Services from 1989-1996. Previous to the asbestos abatement industry, Kevin was involved in the construction field practicing as a senior project engineer for commercial contractors in the Midwest and Northern California areas. Over the past 30 years Kevin has gained lots of experience managing construction projects ranging from $1 mil up to $32 mil. Kevin earned his B.S. in Construction Engineering in 1985 from Iowa State University, in Ames. He has been EPA certified as both a Contractor/Supervisor and as a “Competent Person.” Kevin has also been through Hazard Communication Training, and Injury & Illness prevention training. Bussard - President / Operations Manager Miguel Juarez - Project Foreman Vice President and Co-Founder of West Coast Environmental, asbestos, lead and mold abatement company specializing in the residential, industrial and commercial markets. As Marketing Manager for West Coast Environmental, Bonnie is responsible for the day to day operations of the business and businesses development. Having an extensive background in sales, Bonnie is in charge of the company marketing and public relations programs. Prior to founding West Coast Environmental in 1996, Bonnie was office manager at Valley Environmental Services (1992-1996). Previous to the asbestos abatement industry, she was in charge of airport services for a large Northern California Travel Agency. Bonnie’s duties as airport manager consisted of travel coordination plans for VIP personnel of State Government, and large local businesses. Bonnie received her General Studies degree from Santa Rosa Junior College. She also has earned certificates from Travel Dimensions and the American Airlines Academy. Bonnie has been certified from the EPA as a Contractor/Supervisor under its Hazardous Environment Education Services. Bonnie is a Folsom Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and has worked on several fund-raising campaigns, including the American Heart Association and Meals on Wheels. Miguel Juarez is a Project Foreman for West Coast Environmental, asbestos, lead and mold abatement company specializing in the residential, industrial and commercial markets. Miguel brings more than 15 years experience in the asbestos abatement industry to West Coast Environmental. Working as Project Foreman, Miguel has directed field crews of up to 15 men. He has been foreman on projects as large as $350,000. As Project Foreman, Miguel’s main responsibilities include coordinating and assigning jobsite personnel, job set-up, removal activities and enforcement of work practices. He also is responsible for all daily reports, project completion, testing laboratories, waste manifest, and coordination with the building owners on a daily basis. Miguel has completed EPA certification as a Contractor/Supervisor in both Hazardous Environmental Education Services, and Environmental Safety Training. He also holds certificates for Hazard Communication and Injury and Illness Prevention (SB198).
